Booking Guide
This guide explains how to use the Arlberg Ski Club online booking system.
Bookings are made through the online booking system and paid by credit card via PayPal. Once payment has been completed, your booking will be confirmed almost immediately. All bookings must be paid in full before they can be confirmed.
-
Friday and Saturday nights are treated as a Weekend Booking.
If you wish to book either Friday or Saturday night in advance, you must book both nights.
After 8.00pm on Friday, you may book Saturday night only (subject to availability). This booking includes Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast.
-
Senior members may sponsor up to five non-member guests.
Non-member bookings for Friday and Saturday nights can only be made after notification from the Booking Officer. Please submit your guest booking request as early as possible.
Members have preferential booking rights until 6.30pm on the Monday before the intended weekend. Waiting list requests for non-member bookings will be confirmed after this time if beds are available.
Please do not make member bookings between 6.30pm and midnight on Monday unless directed to do so by the Booking Officer. This allows members time to book non-member guests. Any bookings made during this period without approval may be deleted and refunded where applicable. Please note that the PayPal fee is non-refundable.
A separate guide is available for non-member booking requests. ***Link to this ***
-
Children under 4 years of age (members) and under 5 years of age (non-members) are only permitted to stay at the lodge during designated Family Weeks.
-
Cancellations must be made before 7.30pm, two days before the first night of your booking.
For weekend bookings, this means cancellations must be received by 7.30pm on the Wednesday before your intended weekend.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made after this time.
Please note that all cancellations forfeit the PayPal fee, as this is not refunded to Arlberg.
To avoid additional PayPal fees, bookings can be modified within two days of your stay, including moving the booking to the following season if required. An adjustment may apply if accommodation fees have changed.
-
During the ski season the lodge operates on a day lock. Your access code will be included in your booking confirmation.
The electronic keypad is located to the left of the front door. Enter the code followed by the # key. The lock will release and you will have 30 seconds to open the door.
Enter the code carefully, as the keypad may not register the first key if it has been inactive for some time.
-
Click the Book Now button at the top of the page.
Log in using the username and password provided once your membership subscription has been paid. This will take you to the Arlberg reservation page where you can continue your booking.
Member Bookings
Everything you need to make, manage and update your Arlberg accommodation bookings. The information below covers member and non-member bookings, completing the booking form, changing or cancelling bookings, and other important booking information.
-
Use My Reservation with your booking number to view, change or cancel your booking.
Bookings can be modified up to two days before arrival.
Bookings can even be moved into the following season.
We recommend making separate bookings for each stay. This provides greater flexibility, as bookings that include multiple stays can't be modified once the first stay has passed.
Booking fees are non-refundable because PayPal does not refund these charges.
Refunds are processed manually and are generally completed within a week, provided the correct refund request email has been submitted.
-
Keep this separate from member bookings.
Senior members may sponsor non-members.
Weekend non-member bookings require approval from the Booking Officer until midnight Monday.
After midnight Monday, non-members can be booked without approval if beds are available.
Select Non-member from the drop-down list when making an approved booking.
For out-of-season bookings, use Off Season rather than Non-member.
-
Please ensure all fields are completed accurately before submitting your booking.
Bunks Total: Enter the total number of people included in your booking. This number is used to allocate bunks, so it must be correct.

Estimated Arrival Time: This helps with meal planning.
Names: Enter the names of everyone in your booking and include ages for children under 13 (e.g. Sam Skier (8)). This information is used for the lodge list and safety purposes.

Booking fees are non-refundable because PayPal does not refund these charges.
Refunds are processed manually through PayPal. If the original payment was made within the previous two months, the refund will usually be returned to the original credit card. Older payments are refunded to your PayPal account, where the funds can either be transferred to your nominated bank account or retained as PayPal credit.
Refunds are generally processed within a week, provided the correct refund request email has been submitted. See the Refund Requests section below for instructions.

The numbered list reads more like FAQs than instructions. I'd convert them into accordions such as:
Why can't I modify later bookings?
What happens if I don't complete PayPal payment?
How do refunds work?
Why haven't I received a confirmation email?
When am I eligible for a refund?
How are PayPal refunds processed?
Where can I see current lodge bookings?
Non-member Bookings
Planning to bring family or friends? Senior members can sponsor up to five non-member guests. The information below explains when non-member bookings can be made and the rules that apply during the ski season.
-
Members have priority for Friday and Saturday night bookings until 6.30pm on the Monday before the intended weekend.
Non-member booking requests on the waiting list will be confirmed after this time, subject to availability.
-
Friday and Saturday night non-member bookings require approval from the Booking Officer before they can be confirmed.
You can request a place on the waiting list as soon as you know your guests would like to stay. The earlier you submit your request, the better.
During the ski season, Friday and Saturday nights must be booked together. One-night weekend bookings cannot be pre-booked.
Non-member accommodation is $89.95 per person, per night.
After 8.00pm on Friday, Saturday night may be booked as a one-night stay, subject to availability.
-
Non-members can be booked for any night other than Friday and Saturday without approval from the Booking Officer.
If beds are still available after midnight on Monday, members may book themselves and up to five non-member guests for the upcoming weekend without prior approval.
After 8.00pm on Friday, Saturday night may be booked as a one-night stay, subject to availability.
-
To allow the Booking Officer time to allocate beds for approved non-member guests, members must not make bookings between 6.30pm and midnight on Monday, unless instructed to do so.
Bookings made during this period may be cancelled if required. Please note that the PayPal fee is non-refundable.
